The classes IMPI Studios offer are based on yoga nidra, kundalini yoga, and yogic breathwork (pranayama). Each is adapted into a grounded, accessible approach focused on how it works in your body and how you can use it in practice.

IMPI Studios' focus is not on physical performance or achieving poses. It’s on creating stillness, learning how to pause, and developing the ability to stay with that, mentally and physically.
IMPI Studios' classes are rooted in the ancient intention of yoga: to cultivate a steady, clear mind.We don’t follow one fixed yoga style. We draw from different yogic traditions, and this is exactly why the Studio is structured into three distinct class types, each designed for a specific purpose.
In practice, this means learning how to regulate your system, understand your responses, and build the capacity to remain present, even when things are uncomfortable or hectic.
REST (yoga nidra) involves no physical movement. You lie down and are guided into a state between wake and sleep, where the body can rest deeply and the mind becomes quieter. It’s often a more accessible entry into meditation.
BREATHE (pranayama) focuses entirely on breathing techniques. Instead of just using breath within movement, in each online breathwork class you learn what each technique does, when to use it, and how it affects your state, so you leave with tools you can apply in real situations.
RECHARGE (kundalini yoga) is more physical class, but it is structured differently from typical yoga classes. It draws from multiple traditions, including hatha yoga and tantra, and works with repetitive movement, breath, rhythm, and sometimes sound. Instead of moving through many poses, you stay with one pattern, training focus, endurance, and the ability to remain steady within activation.
Across all classes, the primary emphasis is on what happens internally, not how it looks. Physical flexibility may follow, but it’s not the main goal. The aim is to build a mind that is more stable, aware, and able to pause.
-
No, you don’t need to be flexible, athletic, or have any background in yoga or meditation. We start from the basics, and you build from there if you choose to. You’ll always be given modifications, so you can adjust the class to suit your body and your state.
-
You don’t need any previous experience, special equipment, or a large space. You also don’t need sportswear for most classes. You can use cushions or a chair instead of yoga props.
For RECHARGE, you’ll need a bit of space to move and a mat.
For REST, you’ll need a comfortable surface to lie down, or a wall or chair to sit against in a supported way.
For BREATHE, you can practice almost anywhere, no setup needed.
Classes range from 15 to 90 minutes and are designed to fit into real life. You can repeat the classes multiple times, whether that’s a couple of shorter sessions during the week or a longer class when you have more time. -
You can start with any class or course that feels relevant to you.
If you’d like a deeper understanding of the context, class types, and their effect, we recommend starting with the Welcome Course. It introduces the techniques and terminology, so you can get more out of the theme-based courses that follow.
To purchase a course, you’ll be asked to create an account during checkout. This is where your access will be stored.

The classes in the Studio are built around specific themes and outcomes. You’re not just following along, you are given context, clear instructions, and a deeper understanding of the techniques and terminology.
This means you learn what to use, when to use it, and how to adapt it, so you can tailor the work to your needs and get more out of every class.
We also offer focused courses built around specific topics—such as stress resilience, lucid dreaming, or preparing for physical performance. These are available for a limited time and are designed as deeper immersions into a single theme.
Each course pairs classes that support the theme with practical tools you can use beyond the sessions, so you stay engaged with the topic over time and build a more personal understanding. You may also receive additional guidance, such as simple practices, reflections, or digital resources to support your experience throughout the course.
You can also explore our free classes on YouTube at IMPI Studios. These are free online yoga classes that offer a more general experience and are often filmed in different location, from the streets of Paris to quiet Finnish forests, bringing in the atmosphere and inspiration behind the class. -

These are the names we use for the different class types at IMPI Studios, each designed around a specific purpose and built on yogic techniques, including yoga and pranayama (breathwork). Please see the class type descriptions above for more detail.
REST focuses on deep rest. It helps your system shift out of “on” mode through techniques based on yoga nidra.
BREATHE focuses on breathwork. It gives you practical pranayama techniques to regulate your state in everyday life.
RECHARGE is more active and based on kundalini yoga. It uses movement, breath, and rhythm to build energy, capacity, and resilience.
Each class type supports your system in a different way, so you can choose what you need in the moment.

The experience is highly individual, there’s no right or wrong way to feel. However, how you feel during or after depends on the state you arrive in, so no two experiences are the same.
You may feel calmer, more grounded, more energized, deeply relaxed, or ready for restful sleep, depending on the class.
Some people notice clear shifts, emotions, or physical sensations as the body and mind begin to process and settle. Others feel very little. Both are normal.
This work builds over time, and subtle changes often come before anything more noticeable. Strong reactions can happen, but they’re not the goal, they’re simply one possible side effect.
If anything feels overwhelming or continues beyond the class, it’s important to seek appropriate medical or mental health support. And if you’re ever unsure whether you should continue, reach out to your doctor or a qualified healthcare professional.
